ARTIST INSTRUCTIONS

ARTIST CHECK IN:

  1. You've made it to Winooski by using the map below. Congratulations!

  2. Pull into parking garage on Cascade Way.

  3. Park in the designated save spots on the 4th floor of the parking garage - upper entrance closest to the East Allen St. Follow signs to the Box Office in the VSAC Building. Parking is free in the garage all weekend.

  4. Check in at the Box Office at ARTIST CHECK IN to pick up your Artist Packet.

  5. Check your production schedule for Load In information for your specific venue.

  6. Load In 60 minutes before your performance is scheduled.

  7. Be on site at the venue with your band/crew 30 minutes before your scheduled performance time and check in with the sound engineer. All bands will have a festival style line check before their set unless otherwise specified in your advance.

  8. Please load out immediately after you set.

  9. Not all venues have the capacity for a merch table, so you can sell merch for 30 minutes after you've loaded out at the venue, but then you'll have to clear out and to allow other artists to peddle their goods. If you want Waking Windows to handle merch sales, please touch base with Torrey at newduds@gmail.com before Monday April 29.

 

PARKING IN THE GARAGE WILL BE FREE OF CHARGE ALL WEEKEND

THINGS TO KNOW

  1. All performers get a day pass for the day they are performing.

  2. You can upgrade to a full Weekend Pass for $30 when you pick up your artist packet. If your payment is a weekend pass, then there is no need to upgrade.

  3. No Hospitality will be provided unless otherwise stipulated in your contract.

  4. Due to the number of performers there are no +1s or Guest Lists.

  5. A NOTE ON WEEKEND PASS PAYMENT: Due to the many musicians that play in multiple bands, if you are getting a weekend pass for one band, and are part of a second (or third) band, you won’t get a second weekend pass to give out to a friend or loved one. We realize this isn’t a totally equitable system, but we appreciate your understanding. This is one big experiment and we couldn’t do it without you.
